  Awardees from previous years and guests of honor Prof. Mirjam Christ-Crain, Deputy Chief Physician Endocrinology, University Hospital Basel and Member of the Research Council at the Swiss National Science Foundation and Prof. Hans-Uwe Simon, President of the Brandenburg Medical School and Director of the Institute of Pharmacology, University of Bern.

  Prof. Dr. med. Camilla Schinner received her award in the basic research category in the field of Cardiovascular Medicine, Urology and Nephrology from the laudator, Prof. Andreas Kistler.

  The laudator Prof. Andreas Kistler congratulated Dr. med. Matthias Diebold for his award winning work in the category clinical research in the field of Cardiovascular Medicine, Urology and Nephrology.

  Dr. Coline Barnoud and Dr. Chen Wang, awardees in the field of Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology and Immunology in the basic research category, after the laudation held by Prof. Huldrych Günthard.
• 
  The laudator Prof. Huldrych Günthard handed over the award to PD Dr. med. Aline Wolfensberger and Prof. Dr. Lauren Clack in the clinical research category in the field of Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology and Immunology.

  The first of two awards for clinical research in the field of Neuroscience and Neurology went to Dr. Florence Aellen and Prof. Dr. Athina Tzovara, here with the laudator Prof. Erich Seifritz.

  Prof. Erich Seifritz explained the reasons behind the granting of the second award in clinical research within the field of Neuroscience and Neurology to Dr. Barbara Swiatczak and congratulates her for her outstanding work.

  Prof. Freddy Radtke honored the research work of Dr.
  Joanna Triscott who received the Pfizer Research Prize in the field of Oncology in the basic research category.

  Dr. Reza Naghavian was honored by Prof. Freddy Radtke for his research project in the field of Oncology in the basic research category.

  The 2024 awardees of the Pfizer Research Prize together with Scott C. Miller, United States Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein, and representatives of the Pfizer Switzerland Management Team during the award ceremony.
